Shortie Cuff-Down Socks | December 3 & 10

Knit a fun little shortie sock! In this class we will go through the steps of knitting a
sock from the cuff down, starting with casting on in the round, knitting a heel flap and gusset, shaping the toe and finally grafting the toe. This sock can be knit with a contrasting heel and toe or all in one yarn.

Skill Level: Advanced beginner - techniques used include knitting and purling, knitting in the round, increasing and decreasing, picking up stitches and grafting

Supplies Needed:

• 2.5mm DPN or 9” circular
• 100g sock yarn such, sample knit with To the Macks sock yarn
• Notion – darning needle, stitch marker if using 9” circular
