Knit Flower Stitch | July 26

Learn to use two unique flower like knitting stitches to either knit a cowl or a hat. The border has the look of a row of flowers and then the body uses different stitch to make the smaller flowers. Both the cowl and the hat use a colourful contrast yarn ( Rose Hill Yarns for the cowl and Malabrigo for the hat, but you can use any colourful multicolour yarn) for the flowers and a solid colour as the main yarn. They are knit in a DK weight yarn so they great for  spring or fall when you want something a little lighter.

Skill Level: Intermediate, skills used include knitting in the round, knit, purl , carrying a contrast colour, and unique stitch patterns

Supplies Needed:

• 4 mm 16” circular
• 50g of dk weight yarn in a solid colour, 25g of DK weight yarn in a multicolour
